Instead they let something that is bothersome worry them and they procrastinate and it ends up costing them dearly in profits or sales. It is important to communicate and to pick up that phone because your business depends on it.

When was the last time you were in a business situation where the other party had misinterpreted something you said or made a simple mistake that ended up costing both of you money? You need to be in constant contact with your vendors, employees, executives and your customers. Especially your customers. So pick up that phone and make the phone call.

If you need practice then call someone you do not know that you believe might be a customer of yours in the future and ask them what they might like to have in the way of products or services that you offer. Simply opening up the lines of communication will give you better insight and business intelligence and propel your success.

If your current cell phone does not have all the features you would like then look for another model that perhaps has contact management software built-in or is able to do instant messaging or e-mail.
